24hr onsite management and caring, friendly staff at Links View provide you with the support and care you need to live in your own home for as long as you wish. From helping you settle in to developing tailored personal care packages, our support adapts to your changing needs.
The additional features and facilities offered at a Mature Living Care option are designed to postpone the need for residential care. Most importantly, they enable you to continue to live in your private apartment, set within a warm and friendly community.
Support and Care - when you need it
You might not need any extra care when you move in. And you might continue to live entirely independently. But if your needs change, help is on hand with your personalised care package, chosen by you.
We understand that moving home is a huge upheaval, at whatever stage of life you are. And we know that settling into a new home can take some time. So, we do everything we can to make you feel right at home, as quickly as possible.
We can help you to unpack or to sort out meter reading. Or we can point you in the right direction to find a decorator or buy a new bed. We’re always on hand when you need us.
Our staff will go out of their way to ensure you can comfortably find your way around. They’ll also introduce you to the other residents and help you to settle into life at Links View. From knowing who the local milkman is, to which is the best fish and chip shop, our care team love to help.
To offer our residents peace of mind, we fit each apartment with an emergency pull cord and provide every resident with a Tunstall emergency pendant. Plus, the 24-hour duty manager and care team are always on hand for peace of mind with your everyday support and care.
There comes a time when some extra help is necessary in everyone’s life. Sometimes even the little things present problems, and this is when you’ll start to consider your personalised care package.
You might need help with housework, shopping, or personal care, and our team will help you find the best type of care to suit your needs. It might be one of the ICare team, a local care provider, or you might choose to employ someone directly. From daily help with cleaning or meal preparation to overnight care and support, whatever the solution, you can rest assured it will be the best option for you.
We aim to provide as much or as little support and care as residents want or need. The level of help that keeps you living at home in your apartment for as long as possible.
We would suggest that residents or their family members consider specialist provision only when we can no longer provide a level of support sufficient to ensure the residents’ health, safety, security, and well-being. That’s usually if a resident requires specialist nursing or specialist mental health care.
