Your Own Apartment
The big advantage is that this is not a care home but a private individual apartment with my own kitchen, lounge, bedroom, bathroom and front door.
I’ve lived in Lytham St Annes for 32 years and have seen similar retirement flats, most of which are for sale rather than rentals, which I prefer. The apartments rooms in other establishments are not nearly as big as those here in Links View.
I am very happy I moved here and do not wish to move anywhere else.

Step Inside Your Apartment
Enter your apartment into a hallway with a store cupboard, coat hooks and a centrally located emergency pull cord. For ease of use and convenience, apartments have an open-plan, bright, airy lounge and kitchen with large uPVC double glazed windows. Some apartments have a patio, and others have a Juliette balcony.
Your apartment has its central heating boiler on a separate timer for hot water. And independently operated wall mounted electric heaters are provided in each room.
Your Lounge
Your spacious lounge area is free for you to decorate and furnish with all your favourite things, in your favourite style. And with a large, secure window you can easily enjoy fresh air and beautiful views.
Your Bathroom
Bathrooms are spacious walk-in wet rooms with mains powered showers and fully tiled walls, making them fully accessible for all. If and when needed, there is plenty of room for both a wheelchair and a helper.
Your Bedrooms
Bedrooms are a good size, with plenty of space for your own favourite furniture.
What’s Included?
- 24hr emergency pendant on-call service. Each resident is provided with a pendant from a company called Tunstall. In an emergency, simply press the pendant to alert the management team.
- Maintenance of the building in all communal areas. Including window cleaning, gardens, and buildings insurance.
- Cleaning of all communal areas.
- Use of facilities including the Gym, Cinema room, Laundrette, Hobby room, Sensory Therapy suite, buggy storage, Library, Computer Room and Wi-Fi in communal areas.
- Enjoy afternoon tea at 4pm every day (7 days per week).
- Duty Manager onsite 24hrs.
What’s Not Included?
- Council Tax – apartments are Council Tax Bands B, C and D
- Electricity and water rates.
- TV License

- Subsidised meals in the restaurant. Our restaurant service with on-site chef, ranges from three course meals to cheese and crackers.
